From time to time called “New Tuscany”, Istria Peninsula in Northern Croatia is a magical place where atmosphere of ancient past and present days mix with each other. Strong Italian influence can also be felt here. Travellers are attracted by its sunny coast, while the island’s medieval hilltop villages are inspirational to painters and artists. You will be delighted after seeing this charming part of Croatia on a private Istia tour from Zagreb with a friendly local guide.

We will drive through Rovinj – absolutely must-visit place. This late medieval town is filled with Venetian overtones, while the architecture and beautiful harbour setting combine to turn it into one of the most romantic villages you will see during your trips. On our way we will not miss the famous Roman Arena in Pula – one of few standing to this day Roman Classic Amphitheaters built in 27 BC – 68 AD. We will also visit city of Porec to see the UNESCO World Heritage-listed Euphrasian Basilica, which is a stunning example of 6th century Byzantine art.

We offer private tours with a private English-speaking guide.
